Police Seek Information on Aggravated Assault in Katherine 7 July

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an alleged assault in Katherine East overnight.

At about 9:00pm, police received reports of two males entering a yard on Sandalwood Crescent, Katherine East.

One of the males allegedly threatened an occupant of the residence with a machete.

The two males jumped the back fence of the residence fleeing on foot down an alleyway. The offenders are believed to have been involved in several other incidents in the immediate area.

Enquires are ongoing to identify the offenders.

Police are urging anyone with information, particularly if you have CCTV in the area that may have captured the males to contact police on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference 10391684.
