Police Seek Information On Aggravated Robbery - Malak

The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Malak overnight.

Around 1:10am this morning, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report that two victims had been robbed at the Malak Oval.

It is alleged two males aged 21 and 22 were sleeping inside their rooftop tent on their vehicle in the carpark of the Oval when they were woken by their car door opening around 12:30am.

After going down to investigate, the two victims were allegedly threatened by two males with edged weapons.

The offenders fled the area after allegedly stealing a silver chain and a bag which contained personal items.

No injuries were reported to police.
