Police seek information on Assault in Alice Springs 5 February

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an assault on South Terrace in Alice Springs over the weekend.

Between 1am and 3am on Saturday 2 February 2024, a 40-year-old female was allegedly assaulted by an unknown female on the corner of South Terrace and Kempe Street.

The victim suffered head and chest injuries and attended Alice Spring's Hospital for treatment.

The incident was recorded and posted to social media. Police are particularly interested in speaking with the person who recorded the assault.

Police are requesting anyone who has information on this incident or who may have witnessed it to come forward and make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference NTP2400012388.
