Police Seek Information On Jewellery Store Burglary

Investigations are under way into a burglary at a jewellery business on Murray Street, Hobart, in the early hours of Sunday.

Police were called to the business on Murray Street about 2am on July 13 after it was broken into and a quantity of jewellery, including rings and watches, was stolen.

Entry was gained by smashing a security door and a glass front door.

Detectives are calling for any members of the public who observed the break-in or suspicious activity in Murray Street or Collins Street – where a stolen vehicle was set on fire – to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
