Police seek information on Robbery in Alice Springs 29 December

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to a robbery in Alice Springs overnight.

At around 12.30am, police received a report that a 34-year-old man had been robbed on Gregory Terrace.

Three males, described as being Aboriginal, in their late teens or early 20s, assaulted the victim and stole his wallet, mobile phone and a gold chain before walking towards the Todd Mall. The victim followed the offenders to the Todd Mall, asking them for his property back. The victim was assaulted again before the offenders fled the location.

Detective Senior Constable Stephen Heffernan said, "This incident is under investigation and police are calling for anyone with information to make contact on 131 444. You can make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference 9886655."
