Police seek information on Unlawful entry and Stolen motor vehicle in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an alleged unlawful entry and stolen motor vehicle overnight in Alice Springs.

Sometime between 10:00pm and 2:00am, a group of four unidentified male youths unlawfully entered a residence in Alice Springs stealing various items including car keys to a white Hyundai I30 hatchback.

The youths stole the vehicle and were seen by police driving erratically at speed through the Alice Springs CBD. A tyre deflation device was successfully deployed and the vehicle was abandoned.

Police are seeking public assistance from anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who may have obtained dash cam footage of the youths or the stolen car.

Anyone with information, or knowledge of the identity of the males, is urged to notify police on 131 444 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference number 9142181.
