Northern Territory Police are appealing for information following a vehicle fire on the Stuart Highway north of Alice Springs on Saturday 9 March 2019.
A passing motorist located a white Audi A4 on fire on the Stuart Highway approximately 100 metres north of the Alice Springs Motor Vehicle Registry at about 10.55 pm.
"Investigators are calling for witnesses and dash cam footage from any persons passing through this area on Saturday evening and who may have witnessed any activity in this vicinity on this day" Detective Senior Constable Nick George said.
"This vehicle is described as a white coloured Audio A4 2009 four door sedan.
"We're also asking for any residents or businesses with Closed Circuit Television Cameras along the North Stuart Highway north of Basso Road to contact police," Detective Senior Constable Nick George said.
