Police seek information: Wounding, Hendra

An investigation is underway after a man presented to hospital with a gunshot wound sustained at Hendra today.

Investigations suggest the 22-year-old man received the wound from a person known to him after an altercation in Gerbler Street at around 1.30pm.

The victim was confronted by two men wearing high visibility clothing and driving a white ute as he sat inside his black sedan.

The two men are described as being Moari in appearance and of a solid build. They were also wearing caps.

Hendra detectives are now appealing for anyone with information or vision of the incident to come forward as investigations continue.
