Police seek missing autistic child

Police are appealing for community assistance to locate a young boy who has been reported missing after catching a train in Sydney's south west today.

Mohi Tuma, also known as Mohi McFarland, aged nine, was last seen on a train travelling from Fairfield to Edmondson Park, about 6pm today (Sunday 5 March 2023).

He was reported missing to officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command who have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concern for his welfare due to his age and as he lives with autism.

Mohi is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of solid build with light brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey polo shirt, black shorts with red and white stripes and black slides.

Anyone who may have seen Mohi or has information that could assist is urged to contact Triple Zero '000' immediately.
