Police are renewing their appeal for information as an investigation continues into the historic sexual assault, attempted sexual assault and indecent assault of four women in the state's south in 2005 and 2006.
Strike Force Ranchby was reactivated in June 2025 to review the incidents reported in and around the Albury CBD, after fresh information was received from a caller to Crime Stoppers.
Police will allege four women were assaulted in and around the Albury CBD between May 2005 and August 2006, as they were walking home alone, mostly at night.
One of the women suffered varying physical injuries, including cuts, bruising and abrasions.
Advancements in technology, have linked a number of the incidents.
Police are appealing for anyone with information – or anyone who may not have come forward at the time – to contact Albury Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The man is described as a Caucasian male, aged in his 20s, between 170cm-185cm tall and of slim-medium build.
