Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an assault in Alice Springs yesterday afternoon.
Between 4:45pm and 5:45pm, a female was allegedly assaulted by a male on the corner of Spearwood Road and Aneura Place. The offender fled the scene and the female was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital in a stable condition.
The male is described as Aboriginal, 1.8 metres tall with a medium build.
Police are asking anyone in the area at that time who has information, including CCTV and dash-cam footage, to contact on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference 9772506.
