Police seek witnesses to Carrum assault

Police are appealing for public assistance after a man was assaulted in Carrum last month.

It is understood a 46-year-old Carrum man was driving along McLeod Road, before turning into Valetta Street where a group of motorbike riders damaged his vehicle about 9.45pm on Friday, 24 June.

Police were told the man was assaulted when he got out of his car.

He was injured and required hospital treatment.

The offenders fled the scene on their bikes.

Police have released a CCTV image of four men who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
