Police seek witnesses to Reservoir Police Station crash

Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man drove through a garage roller door and crashed into a police vehicle at the Reservoir Police Station yesterday.

The incident occurred at the Edwards Street police station just before 11am.

The driver of the car, a 28-year-old Reservoir man, got out of his car and was arrested after a short struggle with police.

The man was conveyed to hospital for assessment and remains there under police guard.

The car used in the incident was reported stolen from Reservoir on 10 February.

Investigators are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have any footage of the incident.
