Police seek witnesses to Seddon incident

Detectives from Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance following a road rage incident which occurred in Seddon last month.

Officers have been told a 33-year-old woman from Seddon was involved in a verbal altercation with the male driver of a white Toyota C-HR wagon in the drive-thru of a fast food restaurant in Seddon about 9.20pm on 10 February.

Both cars left the restaurant and the woman stopped her car on Gamon Street.

She got out of her vehicle and approached the Toyota.

The driver of the Toyota drove forward and collided with the woman before driving off along Gamon Street.

The victim suffered significant injuries, including a broken leg, and was taken to hospital.

The driver of the Toyota is perceived to be a Caucasian male with a solid build and a small black beard.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a black t-shirt.

Investigators have released CCTV and an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
