Police seek witnesses to three car colliison in Noble Park

Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol officers have arrested a man following a three-car collision in Noble Park this morning.

The collision occurred on Heatherton Road just before 7am.

Investigators have been told that a VW Passat was making a right turn onto Briggs Street when struck from behind by a red Toyota Camry.

The impact of the collision shunted the Passat into the path of an oncoming Honda sedan which had been travelling west on Heatherton Road.

The male driver of the red Toyota stopped not far from the collision and ran from the scene.

Both drivers from the other cars involved, two men, were conveyed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 31-year-old man, the alleged driver of the red Toyota, was arrested at a Wantirna address shortly after the collision.
