Police seize stolen tools and firearms in Ringwood

Whitehorse Crime Investigation Unit detectives have seized firearms, ammunition and stolen tools worth $20,000 in Ringwood this morning.

Detectives executed a search warrant at a residential address in Heywood Street and located several items including stolen tools, ammunition, weapons and four firearms.

A 28-year-old Ringwood man has been charged with 19 offences including trafficking firearms, manufacturing firearms, handle stolen goods and theft related offences.

He is currently in custody.
