Police treating fire as suspicious, Woody Point

Police are appealing for witnesses to a suspicious structure fire on a property at Woody Point this afternoon, Friday February 18.

At approximately 6pm emergency services were called to Arthur Street, where a detached unit structure was well involved.

No one was home at the time, and no one was injured.

Police have declared the property a crime scene, as investigations into the cause of the fire continue.

Anyone who was in the area of Arthur Street at the time, and may have information or dashcam footage, is urged to contact police.
