Police treating house fire as suspicious, Ascot

Detectives are appealing for information following a suspicious house fire at Ascot this morning.

Emergency services were called to the Hampden Street residence around 9.30am and found a garage fully alight. Two cars were destroyed.

A 21-year-old man escaped the residence and was not physically injured.

Police are seeking any information on any suspicious activity in the area around the time to contact police. Residents who have CCTV, or motorists who may have dashcam, are also encouraged to come forward.
