Police treating house fire as suspicious at Pooraka, South Australia

Police are currently at the scene of a suspicious fire at Pooraka.

Just after 8.30am on Saturday 13 June, patrols and fire crews were called to a house on Bridge Road after reports of a fire. A woman from the property was taken to Modbury Hospital with smoke inhalation and discharged a short time later while a man was uninjured.

Detectives from Eastern District CIB and Fire Cause Investigators attended the scene and investigations are continuing.

One northbound lane on Bridge Road remains closed.
