Police update 1: Suspicious vehicle fire, Dutton Park

Detectives have charged a 28-year-old Woodridge man in relation to a suspicious fire at Dutton Park last month.

Emergency services were called to a unit block on Gladstone Road shortly after 11pm on October 5 following reports of a vehicle fire.

It will be alleged a fire was deliberately lit in the carport area of the complex, damaging 11 vehicles.

No one was injured in the fire.

The Woodridge man has been charged with 11 counts of arson of a motor vehicle, one count of arson of a building and one count of unlawful possession of weapons.

He is due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on November 4.
