Police have charged a 24-year-old Kelso man following an armed robbery in Cardwell on 26 July.
It will be alleged about 6.35pm, four people approached a white Hyundai Accent at a rest stop on the Bruce Highway.
The group allegedly then demanded the driver of the Hyundai handover his keys, wallet and phone, before one of them reportedly threatened the driver with a firearm before demanding he exit the vehicle.
On 14 August, police located the 24-year-old man at a South Johnstone residence.
He was charged with two counts of robbery whilst armed and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and supply dangerous drugs.
He was remanded in custody to reappear in the Tully Magistrates Court on 13 October.
