Police Update 2: Assault Police Charges, Bungalow

Police have charged a 46-year-old man following an emergency declaration being made at Bungalow earlier this week.

Cairns detectives yesterday charged a 46-year-old Bungalow man with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm (domestic violence offence) and two counts of serious assault police whilst armed with a dangerous weapon.

He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court on April 1.
