Police update 2: Continued appeal for public assistance at Geham

Detectives investigating the death of an 18-year-old male pedestrian in Geham on January 23 are again asking anyone who may have witnessed or has information about the incident to come forward.

Police have released vision of a man who attended the Farmers Arms Hotel shortly afterwards and called emergency services, as they believe he may be a witness.

Investigating officers are still interested in speaking with a motorist who was driving southbound and discovered the deceased, who also phoned emergency services.

Police have spoken to the driver of a heavy vehicle who stopped at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit continues to make inquiries to establish the full circumstance surrounding the death of the 18-year-old man.

Anyone with information about the incident is strongly urged to contact police.
