Police update 2: PSPA Declaration revoked, Parkhurst

One man has been charged following an incident in Parkhurst yesterday evening.

Around 5.20pm on January 5, police were called to a disturbance at an address at Brosnan Crescent.

At 9.20pm, a PSPA (Public Safety Preservation Act) was declared, with the exclusion zone including Yaamba Road, Jones Street, Mason Street and Norman Crescent.

At 3.30am today, the PSPA was revoked with three men taken into custody without incident.

A 23-year-old Woorabinda man has been charged with drug offences and will appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on January 30.

The investigation is ongoing.
