Police update: Armed robbery, Rockville

Detectives have released vision of a woman who may be able to assist with investigations into an armed robbery in Rockville in Toowoomba on Sunday, April 16.

At approximately 3pm, a woman has entered a Kettle Street home, threatening a resident with a knife before stealing a mobile phone and car keys to a Nissan Navara parked at the property.

She has then gained access to the car and started reversing before being stopped by a nearby witness.

After attempting to assault the witness, the woman fled on foot towards Makepeace Street.

No one was physically injured.

The woman is described a Caucasian in appearance, with orange hair and a proportionate build.

Police are urging anyone who recognises the woman, or may have information in relation to her whereabouts, to come forward.
