Northern Territory Police have arrested a man in relation to an assault on a bus in Parap on Monday.
The 48-year-old was arrested earlier today and is expected to be charged with one count of recklessly endanger serious harm and armed with an offensive weapon.
Detective Sergeant Caragh Hen of Strike Force Lyra said, "Violent behaviour such as this has no place within our community and police would like to thank the members of the public who have assisted with the investigation to date.
"Investigations remain ongoing and police continue to urge anyone who witnessed the incident on Monday to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 10089251."
