Police update: Arson charge at Bundaberg

A 42-year-old man has been charged in relation to the alleged arson of a property at Walkervale overnight (November 2).

Police were called to a Walker Street address at approximately 6pm to a house fire.

No one was physically injured.

Investigations led police to locate a 42-year-old Walkervale man at Kepnock, where he was taken into custody.

He has been charged with one count each of arson, attempted arson and contravention of a domestic violence order.

He is expected to appear before Bundaberg Magistrates Court today (November 3).
