Police update: Assault of taxi driver at Noosa Heads

Police have charged two men in relation to the alleged assault of a taxi driver in Noosa last month.

Just before midnight on September 7, a 35-year-old man, driving a local maxi taxi collected a fare of around eleven people including adults and children from Hastings Street.

The victim did not sustain serious injury as a result of the incident.

A 50-year-old Ashgrove man and a 35-year-old Centenary Heights man have each been charged with assault

They are expected to appear in the Beaudesert Magistrates Court on December 12, 2019.
