Police update: Charges - Aggravated robbery in Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged a third man in relation to an aggravated robbery in Darwin City on Sunday night.

Two men were arrested on Monday. Detectives from Strike Force Trident arrested a third alleged offender, a 22-year-old male, yesterday. Police further allege he was also involved in an unlawful entry in the CBD on 18 May 2022 and an assault on 23 July 2021.

He has been charged with:

  • Robbery - aggravated
  • Unlawful entry - building
  • Damage to property
  • Stealing
  • Aggravated assault

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.

Acting Sergeant Dale Motter-Barnard said, "All three offenders in this violent incident have now been charged. Strike Force Trident will continue to combat property crime in all its forms."
