Northern Territory Police have charged a man in relation to an assault that occurred in Darwin city in July 2022.
Investigators from Strike Force Lyra arrested a 32-year-old man this morning where he was charged with one count of unlawfully cause serious harm. He is expected to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
Acting Sergeant Carol Maxwell said "Police would like to thank the public for providing information that was vital in the identification of the alleged offender.
"Such acts of violence are completely unacceptable."
