A man injured in a crash on 19 February has died in hospital.
The 65-year-old man was driving on the Rowell Highway, Groote Eylandt when he was involved in a head-on collision with a road train. He and a passenger sustained severe injuries and were transported to Royal Darwin Hospital. The passenger has since been discharged, but the driver remained in hospital and passed away on 11 March.
The driver of the road train was uninjured in the crash.
Police will prepare a file for the Coroner.
