Police update: PSPA revoked at Ormeau

Police have revoked an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) following an ongoing incident today at Ormeau.

Police were called to a Gannon Way address at Upper Coomera overnight in response to a domestic violence incident

The man involved left the scene.

No one was physically harmed at the address.

Police established an exclusion zone in Ormeau just after 10am this morning as part of ongoing efforts to locate the man and in the interests of public safety.

An extensive search of the area has been conducted by specialist police and the man's whereabouts remain unknown.

The declared zone is now open. Police wish to thank everyone for their understanding and patience.
