Police update: Robbery with violence and property offences at Townsville

Police have arrested three people in relation to multiple offences in Townsville in the past week.

A 15-year-old Garbutt girl has been charged with stealing and two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle in relation to the robbery with violence in Cosgrove on Tuesday night.

Also, an 18-year-old Pimlico man has been charged with burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle and an 11-year-old boy has been charged with entering a premises to commit an indictable offence and two counts of stealing in relation to other incidents.

Chief Superintendent Craig Hanlon said the community can expect to see a high police presence on the road with officers continuing to identify and apprehend the perpetrators of these recent incidents.
