Police update: Shooting incident, Flagstone

A 56-year-old man has been charged after he produced a firearm at Flagstone on Tuesday.

Officers located the man around 11.20am in the street where it will be alleged he produced a firearm and was shot by police.

The man sustained a non-life threatening injury.

The 56-year-old has been charged with four counts of serious assault police whilst armed.

He appeared in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday and was remanded in custody to reappear on Wednesday, December 15.
