Police have charged two teenagers and have located an alleged stolen silver Mitsubishi Lancer believed to be involved in several incidents last week in the Bundaberg area.
Police located the Mitsubishi in Kensington on April 27 with assistance from the public. It is now with police for forensic examination.
The car was allegedly stolen from an address at Warrell Street at Millbank around 4pm on April 23.
A 16-year-old Walkervale girl was arrested in Walkervale on April 25 and charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
She is due to appear in the Bundaberg Childrens Court on April 29.
A 16-year-old Bundaberg South boy was arrested in Bundaberg South on April 25 and charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing.
He has been remanded in custody and due to reappear in the Bundaberg Childrens Court on April 28.
Police will allege the stolen car was involved in several incidents on April 24 including a burglary at a Sienna Boulevard at Ashfield address around 1.20am.
The offenders attempted to steal two vehicles from the address but were unsuccessful.
Later that morning at 4.50am, the silver Mitsubishi Lancer allegedly struck a 51-year-old male cyclist on Headlands Esplanade in Innes Park before leaving the scene.
The cyclist sustained minor injuries.
Shortly after at 5.15am, the vehicle allegedly struck a pedestrian on Barolin Street, Walkervale before continuing.
The 56-year-old man was not physically injured.
Investigations into all incidents are ongoing.
Police continue to appeal to anyone with information, dashcam or CCTV of the silver Mitsubishi Lancer, to contact police.
