An investigation is underway after the death of two drivers in a crash on the state's South Coast today.
About 1.30pm (Sunday 21 June 2026), emergency services were called to the Kings Highway near Old Bolaro Road, Nelligen (approximately 15km north west of Batemans Bay), after reports of a crash.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District arrived to find two vehicles had collided head on.
The drivers and sole occupants – two males aged 23 and 59 – died at the scene.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the incident commenced.
The roadway has now re-opened.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
