Port Stephens Aquatic Centres will be undergoing essential maintenance works during the colder Winter months to ensure they are operating at their best for the Summer season.
Community Services Section Manager Cameron Donaldson said the work carried out while the pools are closed is important to ensure they continue to be open all year-round.
"We know our community pools are much loved assets," Mr Donaldson said.
"We want to make sure our pools operate to the highest possible standard, which means we need to invest some time into the behind the scenes works."
"The works will include essential plant maintenance, deep cleaning, painting and other general maintenance which unfortunately cannot be carried out whilst the pools are in operation," Mr Donaldson added.

Pool Closure Dates:
- Tilligerry Aquatic Centre closure – 2 June to 11 August 2025
- Lakeside Leisure Centre closure – 7 to 18 July 2025
- Tomaree Aquatic Centre closure – 7 July to 11 August 2025
