Orange Regional Gallery will feature an exhibition of large-scale figurative and abstract sculptures by Central West artist Harrie Fasher over summer.
Harrie Fasher: Before Dawn is a major solo exhibition of bronze, steel and concrete sculptures, which represents a pivotal moment in Fasher's career, consolidating a decade of ambitious artistic and technical research.

She operates a foundry and studio at the old cement works in Portland, while also running a mentorship program to support emerging artists with hands-on training.
Orange City Council Recreation and Culture Policy Committee Chair, Cr Tammy Greenhalgh says the artist has established herself as a leading contemporary sculptor.
"This is a landmark exhibition for Orange Regional Gallery and we are thrilled to present such monumental sculptures in our gallery space," Cr Greenhalgh said.
The exhibition explores resilience and transformation through material contrasts - weight against fragility, rawness against refinement. It features a series of impressive sculptures including a 1.5 tonne concrete horse, a galloping steel horse elevated at head height, and a three-and-a-half metre-tall abstract bronze figure.
Within the exhibition, Fasher also draws on her experiences travelling through India, Mongolia and Bhutan, imbuing the works with the traditions and cultural practices she encountered.
Fasher says her upcoming exhibition is exciting, enabled by support from Orange Regional Gallery and Creative Australia.
"I have engaged a community of artists to assist in production and have been allowed the opportunity to explore my full creative oeuvre from found object materials and mixed media installations to intimately cast bronze," she said.
Harrie Fasher: Before Dawn will be officially opened at Orange Regional Gallery on Friday 28 November at 6pm. The exhibition will run until 22 February 2026.
