Prepare Now: 2026 Annual Declaration On Compliance

The Annual Declaration on Compliance (ADC) is an online declaration that all Registered Training Organisation (RTOs) must complete. The submission period for the 2026 ADC will be from 3 March 2026 to 31 March 2026.

On Tuesday 3 March 2026, ASQA will email the CEO of each RTO a unique link for them to complete the online declaration.

The ADC can only be completed by the person who is legally responsible for the registration of the RTO (the listed Chief Executive Officer). The ADC confirms you have monitored your RTO's compliance with the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (NVR Act) - which includes the Outcome Standards and Compliance Requirements. This year, providers will need to declare they are complying with the 2025 Standards, since they came into effect on 1 July 2025.

Preparing for the ADC

ASQA has developed Practice Guides to support providers' understanding of our regulatory expectations against the 2025 Standards. RTOs should read these alongside the 2025 Standards to ensure regulatory obligations are fully met. This means providers are no longer required to use a specific Self-assessment tool which was available prior to the 2025 Standards coming into effect.

Prior to 3 March 2026, we encourage you to:

  • check that your CEO's email address is up to date in asqanet
  • update any incorrect records in asqanet
  • prepare using the Practice Guides and resources on our website.

Do I need to submit the ADC?

You need to submit a 2026 ADC if you were registered as an RTO on training.gov.au prior to 31 December 2025.
