Snowy Monaro Regional Council is upgrading the deck on Palarang Bridge, Palarang Road (Bukalong Creek) from Tuesday 11 April to Friday 21 April 2023.
Palarang Road will be closed to through traffic at Palarang Bridge (Bukalong Creek) during this period.
Local traffic will be detoured via Cambalong Road to Delegate Road for the duration of the works to ensure the safety of all road users. We understand that this will impact all residents to the west of the bridge, who access Gunningrach Road from Palarang Road, and we would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Please note the following proposed road closures:
- Palarang Road will be closed Tuesday 11 April to Friday 21 April 2023
- Local traffic will be detoured via Cambalong Road to Delegate Road
Detour signs will be in place at the intersections of Cambalong Road and Delegate Road, Cambalong Road and Palarang Road, and Palarang Road and Gunningrach Road.
This upgrade will improve the level of service provided by the bridge, and facilitate the planned replacement of the three bridges on Cambalong Road.
