Property crime charges at Townsville 6 January

Two teenagers have been charged with multiple offences following an investigation into an Annandale break in on January 2.

On Monday, January 2 between 1am and 2am, an Annandale residence was broken into, and several items were stolen including car keys and a 2019 Ford Ranger dual cab utility.

The utility was found abandoned around 3am at Cameron Street, Railway Estate.

On January 5, a 13-year-old male was charged with 19 offences including seven counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, five counts of enter dwelling and commit an indictable offence, three counts of attempted enter a dwelling with intent at night, and one count each of enter premises and commit an indictable offence, dangerous operation of motor vehicle, attempted unlawful use of a motor vehicle and attempted robbery. He was remanded in custody to appear in Townsville Childrens Court at a later date.

A 14-year-old male was charged with 12 offences including four counts each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and enter dwelling and commit an indictable offence, three counts of enter premises and commit an indictable offence and one count of enter a dwelling with intent. He was remanded in custody to appear in Townsville Childrens Court at a later date.
