PSPA declaration at Oxley

Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to an unfolding incident at Oxley in South Brisbane.

The declaration was made at approximately 1.50pm with boundaries encompassing Portal Street, Dowding Street, and Greenview Street.

Residents within the exclusion zone are urged to stay inside their properties and lock the doors.

Police are currently conducting emergency operations in the area and requesting members of the public and aircraft to not attend the declared location.
