PSPA revoked at Oxley

The emergency declaration made under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) at Oxley this afternoon, has been revoked.

Police including specialist officers and dog squad attended the area in relation to a male person, believed to be linked to property crime offences.

Police received information the person may have been armed, and to ensure community safety declared the PSPA at approximately 1.50pm.

A thorough search was conducted of the area, and it was cleared, with the PSPA revoked at approximately 4.15pm.

Investigations remain ongoing.
