Public Appeal: Stolen car with baby in back, Molendinar

Police are appealing to the public for urgent assistance to help locate a 5-month old baby who was in the back of a car that was stolen from a Molendinar garage this afternoon.

At 4.25pm, the baby was strapped into the rear child-seat of a car, parked in the garage of an address on Stringybark Drive, when unknown offenders stole the vehicle.

The car is described as a white Mazda 3 with Queensland registration plates "173 WTW".

Police urge anyone who sees this vehicle to not approach it and immediately contact police.
