Subjects advance in world rankings

In the most recent QS World University Rankings, published on 6 April 2022, all five departments in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences have improved on their 2021 ranking. The biggest climb is for the Department of Chemistry which jumped 60 places.

All five departments are in the top 100 in the world in the annual ranking of 1,300 universities. Commenting on the table, the Executive Dean, Professor Bashir M. Al- Hashimi, said:

"It is pleasing to see the steady progress we are making in all of our subject areas recognised in this international league table."–
