The Crisafulli Government is delivering for Queensland with new regional plans and generational infrastructure through the 2025–26 Queensland Budget.

The State Development, Infrastructure and Planning Budget lays the foundation of a fresh start, with a plan for Queensland's future.

The Crisafulli Government is delivering a place to call home for more Queenslanders with the roll-out of shovel-ready housing projects approved under round one of the $2 billion Residential Activation Fund.

A $31.316 million investment will also deliver 13 new Regional Plans for every corner of Queensland over the next four years, supporting the Government's plan for one million extra homes by 2044.

The newly established $180 million Sovereign Industry Development Fund will help build sovereign industry capability, strengthen our regions, and play to our strengths in the re-focused State Development areas of Defence, Biomedical and Biofuels.

$4.7 billion for generational infrastructure for the 2032 Games is also delivered in this Budget, after 1200 days of Labor Games chaos and blowouts meant critical infrastructure was at risk of not being delivered.

The Crisafulli Government's first budget also progresses the Brisbane Arena, with $9.4 million for a competitive market process for the Arena at the Gabba Entertainment Precinct, to make the most of a once-in-a-generation opportunity to partner with the private sector.

This investment ensures Queensland will benefit from generational infrastructure delivered before, during and after 2032, compared to Labor's Games chaos that left regional Queensland in the slow lane.

To align with the refocus of Economic Development Queensland to deliver more homes faster in Priority Development Areas, this Budget also allocates $150 million over 3 years to accelerate delivery of trunk infrastructure in the Waraba Priority Development Area.

Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning Jarrod Bleijie said the Crisafulli Government was delivering long-term value for Queenslanders through responsible planning and strategic investment.

"This Budget is about delivering for Queensland — with the generational infrastructure needed for our growing population," Deputy Premier Bleijie said.

"We are planning ahead for more homes and generational infrastructure that leaves a positive legacy for Queenslanders.

"We're delivering new Regional Plans to partner with councils, industry and the community, supporting a place to call home for all Queenslanders.

"From master-planned communities like Waraba to catalytic Games infrastructure, we're investing in a legacy that will benefit Queenslanders long after 2032.

"The newly established Sovereign Industry Development Fund is a show of confidence that Queensland is open for business and is ready to work with industry on strategic partnership opportunities in the biofuels, biomedical and defence industry sectors to accelerate growth in our regions."

Treasurer David Janetzki said the 2025–26 State Budget was about delivering for Queensland with a better lifestyle through a stronger economy and a plan for Queensland's future.

"We promised a fresh start for Queensland and that's exactly what this Budget delivers," Treasurer Janetzki said.

"After crises in youth crime, health, housing and cost of living, this Budget delivers the foundations for safety where you live, health services when you need them, a better lifestyle through a stronger economy and a plan for Queensland's future."
