Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training The Honourable Ros Bates
  • Queensland businesses backed to Go Global and grow local jobs.
  • Go Global grants turning export potential into real-world results.
  • 35 local businesses supported to expand into international markets.

The Crisafulli Government is delivering on its commitment to grow Queensland's economy and create jobs, with 35 small and medium-sized businesses receiving support through the Go Global Export Program.

This year's recipients include:

  • CMT Scanner (Geebung, Brisbane): Exporting Queensland-made AI vehicle damage scanners to the UK, starting with a high-profile installation at Mercedes-Benz Stockport.
  • BiomeCentric (Molendinar, Gold Coast): A cutting-edge biotech company providing personalised gut microbiome products. Grant funding will support planned expansion into China.
  • Audeara (Bowen Hills, Brisbane): Launching a medical-grade wireless hearing aid and software solution in China. This export initiative targets the country's estimated 500 million people with hearing loss. The company was awarded the International Health Exporter of the Year for Queensland in 2024.

Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training Ros Bates said the matched funding of $10,000 to $25,000 will help Queensland businesses transform export opportunities into real deals.

"The LNP knows that Queensland's small and family businesses are the backbone of our economy," Minister Bates said.

"These grants are about cutting red tape, unlocking trade, and helping local businesses grow and hire.

"Unlike the Labor party, which was only interested in announcements and glossy brochures, we're focused on outcomes.

"This program is delivering real export wins and real jobs for Queenslanders.

"These businesses show what Queensland does best – smart, scalable solutions that meet global demand.

"We're backing them to grow, hire and succeed."

Trade and Investment Queensland CEO Justin McGowan said Go Global was part of a broader suite of exporter services available free to Queensland businesses, including eCommerce training, market entry support, and trade mission facilitation.

"TIQ's job is to connect Queensland businesses with global buyers and Go Global gives them the means to close the deal," Mr McGowan said.
