Queensland Officer Receives Crime Command Appearance Notice

A 50-year-old female Senior Sergeant from Crime and Intelligence Command has been served with a notice to appear for driving a motor vehicle whilst over the general alcohol limit but below the middle alcohol limit. The member was off duty at the time.

The member is stood down from the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 5 March 2024 for one count of driving a motor vehicle whilst over the general alcohol limit but below the middle alcohol limit pursuant to section 79(2)(a) of the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995.
