Migratory birds connect continents and ecosystems. However, their ancient routes are facing many threats. Habitat loss, pollution, climate change, and other human pressures are causing alarming declines.
World Migratory Bird Day 2025, being held globally on 11 October under the theme "Shared Spaces: Creating Bird-Friendly Cities and Communities", calls on all to ensure that our neighbourhoods are safe havens for these incredible birds.
