ESCWA, with the support of the World Bank, organized from 15 to 17 June, the third regional workshop on "Disruptive Technologies for Improved Groundwater Management", as part of the Mashreq Water Knowledge Series.
Senior officials and technical experts from ministries in charge of water resources management and agriculture and planning in the Mashreq region focused on identifying challenges, opportunities and innovative approaches for utilizing disruptive technologies for improved groundwater resources management in the Mashreq region.
Participants also exchanged experiences and best practices to improve the capacities in a range of areas, drawing on examples from around the globe.
